What “Adult Problem” Were You Unprepared For As A Kid?

There are just some pieces of information that we really need to pass on to the younger generations. A recent Buzzfeed article asked the question, “What’s an adult problem no one prepared you for as a kid?”. After reading the responses, I’m feeling like we should have a class laying out some of these aspects of adulthood.
For example, nothing prepares you for having to work all year and not getting the summer off. Now, in the back of your mind, you know it’s inevitable. But you know and I know that getting that 3 month break to wake up at noon went by too fast.
Drifting away from friends is another hard part of adulting. You get busy. They get busy. It’s just life. And why is it that no one tells you that’s kind of hard to make friends as an adult? You just end up hanging out with co-workers for the most part. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that)
And can we talk about what a pain it is to keep coming up with meals? When it comes to deciding what to eat for dinner, why does it always feel like it’s the first time you had ever heard of food? Also, side note, why doesn’t anyone tell you just how expensive cheese is? Baffling.
