It’s April Fools’ Day. A day to prank people and play tricks. It can be a really fun day to mess with people but one prank that isn’t funny: a fake pregnancy.
So many people can be hurt by a pregnancy “joke” posted on social media. Not just today, but April Fools’ Day is the most common time to see these posts. It can be very hurtful for families that struggle with fertility and those who have lost a baby to see these posts. There are probably a few people that will see your post that currently have empty arms and will be deeply hurt by your post.
