WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH.

We need to talk about mental health. Struggling with thoughts of suicide is more common than you may think and it’s time we talk about it. You are not alone.
This weekend, CBS re-ran Oprah’s interview with Meghan Markle and Harry. If you haven’t seen it, Meghan revealed that she had thoughts of suicide during her pregnancy with Archie. She said she asked a senior royal about seeking inpatient care, but was denied because “it wouldn’t be good for the institution.” This is heartbreaking and we don’t want anyone to go through that kind of a situation.
A big part of breaking the stigma on mental health is awareness. We reached out to Raeanna Johnson from Tellurian’s CARE House in La Crosse to see what to can do locally if you or a loved one is experiencing suicidal ideation.
The most important thing is that we speak openly about mental health and to SEEK HELP when you need it.
You can reach out to the Tellurian CARE House for info on how they can help or to find other local resources via phone, (608) 519-3080, or email: telluriancarehouse@tellurian.org
