Heroes in the Unlikeliest Places

They always say, “A Picture’s Worth A Thousand Words.” And this photo speaks pretty loudly. As residents of San Antonio, Texas were struggling with blackouts and below freezing temps, a single Dominos Pizza stayed open to serve the people in their area.

A staff member said that a weekend’s worth of food had been gone through in four hours. The post also mentioned that they were yelled at by frustrated customers.

As a former pizza delivery driver, I can fully tell you that isn’t even close to being an easy gig. I can only imagine the stress that can come with trying to serve folks that are dealing with circumstances that are completely out of their control.

So maybe order some takeout. And tip generously in tribute of these incredibly hard working individuals.
