KELLY CLARKSON SINGS “JUST A GIRL” LIKE WE’VE NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE

Kelly Clarkson is incredibly talented. Each day on her talk show, she sings a song for “Kellyoke” and always slays it! Yesterday was a standout performance. Kelly performed an amazingly cool version of No Doubt’s “I’m Just a Girl”. Check it out.

I bet her fellow Voice coach, Gwen Stefani was honored that Kelly covered one of her songs and she may want to use that version in the future!

In the spirit of American Idol premiering this past Sunday, check out Kelly’s highlights from her time on the very first season of American Idol, in 2002! I remember watching her, voting for her, and saying, “she’s gonna win”. Spoiler alert…she won! 🙂

I saw Kelly in concert, here at the La Crosse Center, in August of 2003 (back when we didn’t take pictures with cell phones) and again with Maroon 5 in Detroit in 2013. If you ever get the chance to see her, do it. She’s incredible!
