A new documentary set to drop on FX and Hulu, chronicling Britney Spears life and career, entitled “Framing Britney Spears” on February 5th. According to promo copy, “The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears re-examines her career and offers a new assessment of the movement rallying against her court-mandated conservatorship, capturing the unsavory dimensions of the American pop-star machine.” Check out the trailer below.
Jason Derulo has made a resurgence I’ve dubbed “The Derulo-ssance” (It’s a working title). Not only is Jason a force on TikTok, he’s released 2 top ten songs in the last few months, and he’s just released a new song and music video featuring Adam Levine called, ‘Lifestyle”. Check out the video and the song premieres tonight on “New Stuff @ 9” with Grant.
Drake announced via instagram Wednesday that his 6th full-length album, “Certified Lover Boy” has been pushed back to later this year. People magazine quoted Drake, saying, “I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories. The rapper revealed in Oct. 2020 that he suffered a knee injury. No clear date on when the album will be released was given.
