No doubt you’ve seen some dank memes with Bernie Sanders from yesterday’s inauguration. The picture of the Senator bundled up alone at the ceremony inspired some really good ones:

But where did those mittens come from? Lots of attendees wore designer clothes but in true Bernie fashion, his mittens were free to him and upcycled! NBC in Boston had the story of the Vermont teacher who makes the mittens out of old sweaters and sent a pair to Bernie during his presidential campaign last year!
