Good news for women wanting to start a business in Minnesota and Wisconsin! Zippia.com analyzed the number of women owned businesses per capita, business size, and percent of women CEOs to see where women owned businesses are thriving. Turns out, Wisconsin and Minnesota are the top two states for female entrepreneurs!
Minnesota ranked #1 with 20,352 Women owned businesses and Wisconsin came in at #2 with 17,085 Women owned businesses. Wisco has more revenue per women owned business than Minnesota and larger revenues, it falls a bit behind in other categories. Iowa came in at #17 with 9,377 Women owned businesses.
