HAVE YOU SEEN THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT YET?!?!

The Netflix limited series The Queen’s Gambit has been extremely popular over the last few days. In fact:

So, if you’ve got a little time over the next few days, I’d HIGHLY recommend it. I started it over the weekend and of course I thought, “How good could a drama about a chess champion be?” Turns out, extremely great.

The Queen’s Gambit follows Beth Harmon, who ends up in an orphanage in the 1950’s, learns the game of chess from a janitor, becomes a prodigy and also is dealing with addiction. It’s beautifully shot. The story is engaging and the ending is a masterpiece.

So, after binging on goodies this weekend, binge The Queen’s Gambit, available now on Netflix
