TOMAH’S AARON SCOTT FROM THE VOICE!

Written by on October 26, 2020

When you watch The Voice, you can imagine what it’s like to be on that stage, and this year it will be even closer to home. We are so excited to have a local singer competing on NBC’s The Voice this year! Aaron Scott from Tomah, Wisconsin secured a spot on Team Blake by singing Fuel’s “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)” last week. We couldn’t wait to talk to him about his experience and he was stoked to talk to us, too, since he grew up listening to Z93!

If you missed his Blind Audition, check it out:

If you haven’t seen his Lewis Capaldi rock cover, give it a watch:

More about Aaron Scott:
Age: 36
Hometown: Wilton, Wisconsin
Resident: Tomah, Wisconsin

Aaron got his start in music at church where his mother was the piano and organ player. She inspired him to play piano at six years old, and Aaron quickly fell in love with music. He joined the choir in high school, but didn’t really begin singing until college after he learned to play guitar. Aaron later went through a stage of depression and anxiety, but music helped him heal. He now uses that experience to teach middle school kids who struggle with behavioral and emotional issues. Outside of teaching, Aaron gigs locally with his band and enjoys spending time with his wife and three young boys.
