Katie Couric and Tina Fey wanted to encourage voting in November, had a goal to get 5,000 new voters activated and reached that goal so they had a full-on Mean Girls reunion! Unfortunately, Amy Poehler wasn’t able to join but that just made Katie play the “cool mom” instead!
I honestly found out it existed after Lindsay Lohan posted this marvelous re-enactment:
That glorious revisiting lead me to Katie Couric’s Instagram, where I found she had a ton of the original actors get together to reminisce! Tina also confirmed that they are, in fact, working on a movie version of the Mean Girls musical, too!
