AMERICA’S GOT TALENT FINALE 2020 RECAP

This season of America’s Got Talent will go down in history. It started out with auditions in front of a full audience, in the theater, and all 4 judges. By the end of the season; 3 judges and a virtual audience. #thankscovid

When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, they really did their best with what they had to work with. They wanted to keep things going so they continued with virtual auditions, and the judges from their homes, which was actually quite entertaining.

When they returned to the theater, there were only 3 judges (socially distanced, of course). Simon Cowell had suffered a severe accident where he broke his back and it took him out for the rest of the season. Heidi, Howie, and Sofia did a great job holding things down! The virtual audience was cool and allowed fans to still be involved. This was Sofia Vergara’s first season as a judge. In my opinion she did a great job. She was funny, honest, and added a fun element to the judges table. As for the talent, we saw everything from pig trainers to opera on a horse, and EVERYTHING in between!

The AGT finale was 3 hours long! Wowza! The first hour was basically a recap, and then the 2 hour results show was kicked off by USHER! Where the heck has he been?! He was awesome. Check out his performance here!

When it came down to the finals, there were 8 acts that completely out-shined all the rest! These were the top acts competing for a 1 Million Dollar prize and a headlining show in Vegas!
