MAN DEMANDS CHANGE FROM LINCOLN CITY COUNCIL – RENAME “BONELESS CHICKEN WINGS”

Ander Christensen in Lincoln, NE is pleading with his local city council to make his town a social leader in our country. He wants people to realize the truth and to stop using the phrase “boneless chicken wings.”
He’s not wrong. They’re delicious but definitely not wings and perhaps we should stop lying about it 😉 We’ve always called them gourmet chicken nuggets in our house.
“I go into nice family restaurants and I see people throwing this name around and pretending as though everything is just fine,” said Christensen. “I’m talking about boneless chicken wings.” He continued: “I propose that we as a city remove the name boneless wings from our menus and from our hearts.”
So what should we call them instead? Ander suggests “wet tenders,” which sounds awful, and “saucy nugs,” which I can get on board with. Check out the full video of his comments at the meeting and make sure to watch the end!
