NO FANS FOR ANNUAL PACKER FAMILY NIGHT
Written by Ballzer on July 16, 2020
My family went to Family Night at Lambeau last summer, and we had a BLAST! From watching the players scrimmage, to an awesome fireworks show, it was incredible! It’s another tradition that will be broken this summer due to COVID-19. Fans will not be allowed to attend training camp this year, or the lone preseason game scheduled for Lambeau Field, however the annual practice will be televised statewide. The date and time were not announced yet.
The Greenbay Packers released the following statement, “After consulting with local health officials and reviewing league and CDC guidelines, we felt we needed to make this difficult decision,” said Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy. “We will continue to work on the protocols and logistics in the hope that we can welcome fans back to Lambeau Field for the regular season without jeopardizing the health of our players, team personnel and fans.” Click here to read more.
I’ll have the memories of last summer and will patiently look forward to going back for another Greenbay Packer Family night when it’s safe for all to enjoy!
