REMINDER: TAXES ARE DUE TODAY!

The IRS extended the deadline to FILE and PAY 2019 federal income taxes for 3 months in March and.. oh crap, that’s today! You can file online, have your mail-in return postmarked today, or request an extension. That won’t delay paying if you owe. Any estimated unpaid taxes must be paid by the earliest filing deadline, which this year is July 15, or penalties and interest may be applied to the amount overdue.
At the very least, what you expect to owe must be paid by today to avoid being charged extra penalties and interest, but you have until Oct. 15 to actually file your tax return online or in the mail if needed.
