LOCAL FAMILY USING 3D PRINTING TO FIGHT COVID-19
Written by Ballzer on April 16, 2020
Sherry and Jarrod Picha bought a 3D printer after seeing one on vacation, thinking it would be a fun hobby. They never imagined they would be using it for a pandemic. Along with their two teenage children Lilly and Mason, the Pichas are now using their 3D printer to make face shields, out of their home in La Crescent, for healthcare workers on the front lines during this Coronavirus crisis.

A woman by the name of Bridget Steinfeldt reached out to Sherry and offered to set up a GoFund me page to support their efforts. The Pichas graciously accepted Bridget’s offer to start the Go Fund me page for people who don’t own 3D printers, or who can’t help with skill, to be able to show their support!
