UW-L’S 25TH ANNUAL TURKEY TROT IS THIS SATURDAY!

UWL’s Turkey Trot is the area’s original Trot and is a popular Thanksgiving tradition for many friends and families throughout the region! The event includes a costume contest, coloring contest and Junior Gobbler races which feature a dash and half mile race for younger trotters. Whitney, Alyssa, and Megan came in to tell us more about all the fun elements of Saturday’s event!

Awards are given in the 5k race to the top overall male and female finisher, top three finishers in each age group, and to the top 5 participants who finish closest to their predicted finish time.

There will also be raffle baskets to raise even more funds for UW-L Multi-Cultural Student Scholarships and Student Development Initiatives at the REC Department!
Bring non-perishables for local food pantries, and plastic bags for their recycling project!

JR. GOBBLER RACES (Dash & 1/2 Mile): 10:15 a.m. start on Drake Field right outside the campus entrance of the Recreational Eagle Center
