Global Cat Day…it’s a thing!

Global Cat Day is a day to celebrate the cats in our lives and to educate, engage, and empower people to defend and protect cats. Global Cat Day is also a reminder of the great need to adopt and foster cats. Visit our local shelters! CLICK HERE to learn more about Global Cat Day!
My husband had two cats when we met, Fuzzy and Peewee. Unfortunately, Peewee passed away this July. He was 13 years old and was diabetic. I told my husband how proud of him I was for keeping Peewee safe and happy, and healthy, for all of those years. Giving him insulin twice a day was not always ideal, but he did it because he loved Peewee. There are a lot of people who wouldn’t have done that, so because of this effort Peewee lived a very good life. We still have Fuzzy and she’s a spunky cat! She’s 12, and has been more of a lover since Peewee passed away. We miss Peewee very much, but he’s no longer suffering and is free from pain.
Love and hug your cats on Global Cat Day, and every day!
