Haylee Connelly

Haylee Connelly is a Senior at Cashton High School, and she has been a varsity starter on their softball team since she was a freshman. Recently, Haylee as been named to the Wisconsin Fastpitch Coaches Association’s All Star Team, and will compete this Summer in the All Star Game, in the Dells. She is a GREAT athlete. She has gotten several all conference and team records over the years. It is not uncommon for Haylee to jack one over the fence. From working on her parents farm, picking up extra hours at Wal-Mart, carrying straight A’s in the classroom, to hopefully hitting home runs at the All Star Game, she is just an incredible human being.
Her coach says, “I have been able to see Haylee in more light than just an athlete, I have been able to see her as the wonderful human being that she is. After every drill we all hear a few words, from far out in the outfield, “one more, coach?”….one more turns into ten more as Haylee wants to be the perfect teammate to her own teammates. Although not in Volleyball, she is one of our biggest fans (I coach that, too). She is in the front row each and every game, driving through less than perfect conditions to travel to all of our away games, simply to support her friends-fellow teammates. When Haylee is there to support us, she doesn’t just light up the room, she lights up the whole stinkin’ gym. In the off season she is working as hard as she can, and counting each day down until softball season begins, where the fans pay her dedication right back to her. She has a wonderful family and a great fan base!”
