NEIGHBORS DAY WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Written by Ballzer on April 16, 2019
Do you want to make someone's day brighter and help make our city more beautiful for Spring? Neighbors Day is Saturday, April 27th from 8am to 3pm starting at Myrick Park Center with Habitat for Humanity of La Crosse! It's a day to help the elderly and disabled citizens of the City of La Crosse with their yards for spring, and clean up our beautiful marsh and city.
As a volunteer, you would be doing simple tasks such as; raking yards, trimming shrubs, washing windows, turning gardens, and cleaning up the marsh. You will be given the products and tools necessary to complete the tasks, and will also be served lunch for your hard work! Your time commitment can be as many hours as you are able!
Your help is greatly appreciated and hugely needed! Bring your friends or your family members and make a fun day of it! If you're available and willing to donate some time on Neighbors Day, please register to volunteer HERE!
