Spring is Officially Here!

Today marks the first day of Spring, the season I thought we would never see in La Crosse this year. Winter 18-19 tested all of us Wisconsinites/Minnesotans. From the Polar Vortex that made boiling water vaporize on contact to the air, to the record-breaking snowfall in La Crosse in February of 31.5 inches. We thought it would never stop. I think Punxsutawney Phil owes us for lost Springtime.

Now hang up the Winter gloves and pull out the rubber gloves because it’s time for Spring cleaning! Here is a list of some unconventional cleaning items that you may have around your house:

Lemons: Clean soap scum

Dryer Sheets: Can pick up dust

Bread: Use as a sponge to clean paintings or windows

Ketchup: Polishes brass

Play-Doh: Pick up broken glass

Tennis Ball: Remove scuff marks from your kitchen floor
