MARLEY HUGHES

WEEK OF MARCH 18, 2019
Marley is a 7th grader at Logan Middle School.  Marley plays on the Logan Middle 7th grade basketball team and is part of the Logan Middle Show Choir and Concert Choir.  She is enrolled in five dance classes at two different studios, competes on a local dance team, and dances in the annual production of The Nutcracker Ballet and in this year’s spring performance of Peanuts (Charlie Brown).  In her “free time”, Marley loves reading, writing, art, cooking, and baking.  She even surprises her mom with breakfast in bed once in awhile!  She plays guitar and ukulele, loves to ski with her dad, and adores spending time with her little sister, Maya; friends; cousins; and many adopted pets.  Marley has a kind heart, always demonstrating respect for her classmates, volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club’s Guitar Academy, facilitating and leading a clothing drive in the past, and showing compassion and an eagerness to volunteer in the community as she gets older.  Despite her busy schedule, Marley also maintains straight A’s, going above and beyond in the classroom.
