La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Written by Ballzer on November 21, 2018
The La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner is an Interfaith endeavor put on by volunteers for ALL people of the Coulee Region at the La Crosse Center. Put on BY the community FOR the community!
The event runs from 10am to 3pm and is full of a variety of activities for all ages. There will be musical entertainment all day, arts, crafts, and games for the children, and a large screen TV for the Thanksgiving day football games. A non-denominational worship service will be held at 10:30 and dinner will be served continuously from 11-3.
All food purchased for the dinner is purchased from monetary donations from the community. Pies are donated from local middle and high schools, while canned green beans and cranberries are donated from local churches. Any food left over is donated to the Hunger Task Force in La Crosse.
The La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner is for EVERYONE!
