Teal Pumpkin Project

If you haven’t heard, there’s a way to make sure that kiddos with food allergies can participate in trick or treating. The TEAL PUMPKIN PROJECT started a few years ago and it’s pretty simple but a huge impact for the kids that need it. Their goal is to raise awareness of food allergies and promote inclusion of all trick-or-treaters throughout the Halloween season.

All you have to do to participate is put a #TEALpumpkin on your doorstep for trick or treating and hand out non-candy from a separate container. You can hand out all kinds of fun toys, games, and prizes like temporary tattoos, stickers, glow sticks and more. FARE has a whole list of ideas at their website.
