LEAH MURPHY

WEEK OF OCTOBER 8, 2018

Leah Murphy is 11 years old and is a 6th grader at Logan Middle. The last part of her elementary school years was rough. She had 5 surgeries total from 4th and 5th grade. Started out removing a mass from her femur to a simple fracture and 2 days later broke that femur in half. Her strength through it all was incredible and inspiring! She still found time to study and read all while going through not only physical trauma but mental trauma. She’s always going above and beyond to make others smile, she’s an amazing big sister to her little brother, and she still finds ways to continue strong in school and work hard!
