BENEFIT FOR BRUCIE BUMCHUCKLES AND FAMILY
Written by Ballzer on August 17, 2017
From the family’s GoFundMe Page:
On the morning on July 20, our lives changed in a way we could have never predected. What started as 6 inches, quickly grew to 6 feet of water, overtaking our entire home.
Our dad (most of you know him as Brucie Bumchuckles) tried to save what he could, but the water rose so fast, and became so unexpectedly high, that almost everything was lost. The furniture, appliances, electronics are the most apparent, but the ones that matter are the family heirlooms, all family pictures, the things we had tucked away for future “Bumchuckles” generations. 6 feet of water is something that you think only happens on the news, not to your home.
While we can’t replace the heirlooms or the pictures, Brucie still needs a place to sit, and dishes to eat off of. The insurance will cover some, but there is a significant gap.
Please join us for a benefit on August 25 at Dock 7, filled with bands, a silent auction, terrible jokes, and lots o’ beers. Event details can be found on the Facebook page: When it Rains, it Pours: A Bumchuckles Benefit
If you are not able to make to to the benefit, we’ve set up this GoFundMe for those who would still like to contribute. Any proceeds not used to refurbish or re-furnish the house will be donated to other flood victims in the La Crosse area.

We love you all.
