MAYA BUDIN

WEEK OF APRIL 10, 2017

Maya Budin is a Senior at Luther High School in Onalaska.  She is a dedicated gymnast and co-captain on the GET Area Co-op team which practices in Galesville. Despite the demanding time commitment of living in Sparta, going to school in Onalaska and attending gymnastics practice in Galesville, Maya is an honor student at Luther and participates in other school activities including Choir and National Honor Society.  During the off-season, Maya trains at AMKM Gymnastics and has competed AAU gymnastics for the last 9 years. Her teachers and coaches all speak highly of her work ethic and commitment to excellence. 

Maya has earned all conference honors in gymnastics all 4 years of high school.  She has also earned all-state honors so far the last three years. In February, she qualified as an individual to the 2017 State Gymnastics Tournament for the second time in her high school career.  She is the only Division 1 gymnast in our area who earned that honor this year.
