JIM WARD CANCER BENEFIT 7/16/16
Written by Ballzer on June 6, 2016
Jim Ward was diagnosed for the second time with squamous cell cancer in early May of this month. He had the same kind 6 years ago and survived through months and months of chemo and radiation. This time, unfortunately, they can not do radiation since it’s in the same place (his groin) as before. It has also progressed into his neck and chest. Jim has started chemo, but has only had 1 treatment due to his platelets being low. He has not been able to work for the past 7 years due to his disability from the cancer and is only on Badger care. His friends and family are banding together to make the rest of his time here with us as pain free as we can. Jim is an avid fisherman and hunter and loves the outdoors. He graduated from Logan HS in 1979.
