Alan was a truck driver and father of two. He was fatally stabbed near Chicago in January. You can read the story HERE.

A benefit is planned to help his family with funeral and medical expenses.

WHERE: Colonial Bowling and Banquet Center in Sparta

There will be food, music and a silent auction including a 55-inch television. There is also a fund set up at State Bank Financial, c/o Alan Lauritzen Benefit in Sparta.
