Cancer benefit for Robert “Chub” Kendhammer

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

A benefit is being held on Sunday January 27 at the Log Cabin in Bangor from noon to six. The family is raising money to help out with the many expenses accumulated over Robert’s eight year struggle with Transitional Cell Cancer. This has caused the loss of a kidney and has spread to his liver on lung. He will be undergoing chemotherapy in Rochester. There will be live music by comedian/singer Mike McAbee, kids games, raffles, bake sale, a 50/50 drawing, and food and drinks. Donations are welcome at First National Bank in West Salem if you are unable to attend and would like to donate. The family thanks you in advance for your support.
