Nicole is a 6th grader at Cashton Middle School and was selected to represent the area as a student ambassador of the USA. She will be traveling to France, Italy, and Greece as a part of the European Odyssey for 20 days this summer. The fundraiser is to help cover the expenses of this once in a lifetime trip. It will be held on Saturday February 16th at the Cashton Community Hall from 11am to 3pm. Activities include: lunch, pie auction, bake sale, raffles, karaoke and other children’s activities.

From 4 to 6:30pm they will be offering wine tasting, chocolate, coffee, tea, and a silent auction. A benefit is being held on Sunday January 27 at the Log Cabin in Bangor from noon to six. The family is raising money to help out with the many expenses accumulated over Robert’s eight year struggle with Transitional Cell Cancer. This has caused the loss of a kidney and has spread to his liver on lung. He will be undergoing chemotherapy in Rochester. There will be live music by comedian/singer Mike McAbee, kids games, raffles, bake sale, a 50/50 drawing, and food and drinks.
