Greg Soller was diagnosed with Lymphoma after discovering a lump at the base of his neck. It was found out that the mass was attached to his spinal cord. After surgery and 25 days of radiation Greg returned to work only to discover another lump on his collar bone.

This time Greg’s doctors decided on a stem cell transplant, unfortunately that was delayed when two more tumors in his chest and one in his esophagus was discovered. Greg was additionally diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. After almost two months in the hospital Greg was sent home to regain his strength, before a bone marrow transplant.

Greg and his wife Laurie are the proud parents of Jared and Kristen. Jared will next year be racing a late model Ford Fusion. Racing is a passion that Jared and his father share. At the benefit, for a donation, people will be encouraged to sign Jared’s car that will be the fastest get well card. 

The benefit will be on Sunday, September 16th from noon-9pm. Many activities will be available including a silent auction at 6pm, Texas Holdem’ tournament, wing span raffle, penny raffle, Silpada Designs booth, craft and bake sale. The Packer game will also be broadcast on big screen TVs, while there will be live bands from 2-9pm.

Greg’s friends would like to invite anyone that knows Greg and his family, or has had cancer touch your life to join them for a day of celebration.
