|SHOOTING FOR A CAUSE|
This event occurs in the America/Chicago time zone.
Thursday, December 14th at the Lancers/Hurricanes Girls Basketball Game!
The La Crescent-Hokah Girls Basketball team will be having a "Shooting For a Cause" Night, raising money for students with multiple abilities (students in the Special Education Program at La Crescent-Hokah Public Schools) so they will be able to attend and compete, in the spring, at Special Athletic Day in Winona.
They would also like to raise money towards building an adaptive playground in La Crescent so that no matter a child's ability all children are able to play together. On the night of the 14th the Lancers will be playing against Houston and both teams will be supporting the cause by wearing t-shirts of support during warmup. There will also be multiple fundraising opportunities that night including a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, auctioning off a basketball signed by the La Crescent Girls Baketball team, and will be accepting free will donations.
If you're not able to make the game, monetary donations can be sent to La Crescent Booster Club at La Crescent High School with the memo "Shooting for a Cause"
