Description:

Tia is a 36 year old mother and student that is struggling through Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC). She has recently finished 8 rounds of chemotherapy and is recovering from a double mastectomy she endured in May this year. Currently Tia is awaiting radiation and possibly more chemotherapy. She also is seeking to do Vitamin C intravenously which is recommended 2 times a week (at $526! a week), unfortunately this is not covered by insurance. These treatments are to help build her immune system and help her body fight cancer  in conjunction with radiation/chemotherapy.

Tia took a leap of faith last fall and quit her CNA job she had been with for 9 years. She decided to go back to school to better her families life and improve herself. Shortly after starting her Medical Assistant program she was diagnosed with cancer. Tia is currently taking a break from school to fight her battle.

While Tia fights her cancer battle lets support her the best the we can and ease some of the stress for her!
