Tyler is a 2012 graduate of Holmen High School. Tyler's dream is to serve his country by becoming part of the U.S. Marine Corpse. Unfortunately, the dream had to be put on hold due to being diagnosed with Hogdkin's Lymphoma after receiving emergency surgery to remove a lymph node. After his diagnosis, Tyler made the decision to take leave from work for treatment and to spend time with family and friends. Tyler is very determined to kick the cancer and make a full recovery to still be able to serve his country. Join the friends and family of Tyler on November 15th for a benefit that will be held from 12PM to 8PM at the Holmen American Legion. There will be food/beverages along with silent/live auctions and items to be raffled off throughout the day. If you'd like to make a donation to Tyler's benefit, visit www.gofundme.com/TeamShockey
Scarlett McKenzie was born on July 27th with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). This is a hole in her diaphragm which allowed her abdominal organs into her chest, not allowing her lungs to fully develop. She has since had repair surgery and is doing well..progressing from several breathing tubes to a CPAP. However, it's still a long road to recovery. Scarlett's family is currently challenged with mounting medical bills and costs of transportation. Her father spends his weeks at home in La Crosse to make sure her older brother can make it to school daily, then drives to Rochester every weekend to visit Scarlett and Sarah at Mayo. Any help for Scarlett and her family is greatly appreciated. Support Scarlett and her family by attending the Scarlett McKenzie Benefit at the Moose Lodge from noon to midnight on Saturday, November 7th. Tickets are $10. There will be free food and beer, raffles, kid games, bake sales and lots of live musical entertainment. For more info on the Scarlett McKenzie Benefit click HERE.

This past May, Clint was diagnosed with nasal cancer that has spread to his neck, throat and bones. Clint has since undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and may possibly need to begin radiation. Laurie frequently drives Clint to and from the clinic. However, having a car with many miles has Laurie concerned that major repairs will soon need to be made.
