ZCARE - UPCOMING EVENTS
Join Viterbo University's Miracle at Viterbo Club for their fourth annual Dance Marathon Event. Viterbo is one of many college campuses nationwide to participate in this service event which raises money for their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. 100% of the funds we raise stay right here in the La Crosse area. We dance for 7 hours straight without sleeping, sitting, or drinking caffeine to symbolically show our support for the strong and courageous kids who never get a break from their childhood illnesses. Cost to get into the event is $10 and this goes directly to our fundraising goal. Games, music, snacks, inspirational stories, and speakers will all be included at our event. Bring the whole family and enjoy a day of dancing fun and a great cause!
Amazon brought their cashierless store Go to Chicago. They've had a couple locations in Seattle but this is the first one outside of Seattle. Two of the Seattle stores have grocery essentials but this store in Chicago will only have Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snacks.
According to Amazon's website:
"How does Amazon Go work?
Our checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by the same types of technologies used in self-driving cars: computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning. Our Just Walk Out Technology automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. When you’re done shopping, you can just leave the store. A little later, we’ll send you a receipt and charge your Amazon account."

If I'm being honest, it kind of creeps me out, but I still want to check it next time I'm in Chicago!
