A big-game hunter from the Twin Cities found himself at the center of an international firestorm Tuesday over the death of a beloved lion in Zimbabwe, but said he regrets killing the animal and believed his guides were leading him on a legal hunt.  Walter J. GRAND THEFT LAUGHTER: A San Diego man is suing Conan O’Brien and TBS claiming they stole his jokes from Twitter. O’Brien’s production company says: “We at Conaco firmly believe there is no merit to this lawsuit.”  His lawsuit cites the following jokes:

R.I.P. Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, has died at the age of 22She had been in hospice since June 24 after being found face down in her bath tub on January 31st.  Several specialists determined there was no chance of recovery.  The family says Bobbi Kristina was surrounded by family and, "She is finally at peace in the arms of God."  Now the D.A. is gearing up for a murder case, and Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon is the first person of interest.  Police said there were bruises on Bobbi Kristina's face and body after Gordon and his friend found her in the tub.

GET WELL SOON: Michael Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, has reportedly suffered a stroke that left him at the very least temporarily blind. Jackson family sources confirm to TMZ, Joe was admitted to the Albert Einstein Hospital after reportedly waking up Sunday feeling dizzy, with no vision. Joe is also Diabetic. He's being treated and they will figure out the next best option for treatment.

SERIOUS STUFF: Life & Style Weekly claims Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are house-hunting. A source tells the magazine: "They're ready to take the next step. They're looking forward to a new place they can move into together and decorate together.

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMMM: Snoop Dogg was arrested in Sweden after performing a show Saturday night.  He claims he was snatched out of his car, and he believes it was a clear case of racial profiling.  Cops say they arrested Snoop because they thought he was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  Snoop says he was taken to the station and forced to urinate in a cup for a lab test. A police spokesman tells TMZ, Snoop's not in the clear.  He says Snoop showed signs of driving under the influence and it will take 2 weeks to get the test results back.  As for Snoops allegation of racial profiling, the spokesman said, "We don't work like that in Sweden."  

YUMMY: Ireland's HB Ice Cream has named their gingerbread ice cream sandwich after Ed Sheeran. The packaging shows a red-headed gingerbread man holding a guitar. The new flavor is called Ginger-Ed. I wonder what Ed thinks of that?

AN AMAZING SHOW: Contact Music claims U2 was performing in New York on Wednesday when they invited Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on stage. Jimmy held a sign that read: "Singer with a broken finger." Paul McCartney was also in the crowd.

BIG PLANS: Dancing with the Stars pro, Mark Ballas, plans to open a slew of dance studios across the country, called the Mark Ballas Dance and Performing Arts Center. The first is set to open next week in Charlotte, N.C. The plan is to have 50 studios up and running by the end of next year.

NBD: Jake Gyllenhaal tells People that each day he did 1,000 sit-ups, 100 pull-ups, 100 dips, 2 sets of 100 squats, jump rope, and eight miles of running to prep for his role in "Southpaw". that's all I need to do to get in shape? No problem!

NEED SOME R&R: Nick Cannon landed in the hospital yesterday and posted a pic of himself in a hospital bed, hooked up to a bunch of monitors. He wasn't specific about what's ailing him, but hinted it was somehow related to exhaustion. Nick's last hospital scare was in 2012 for kidney failure. He needs to rest and take care of himself.

IT'S GOOD TO BE MARIAH CAREY: Mariah Carey is doing very well. Mariah will bank $500,000 for one show in Tel Aviv, Isreal. The show's in August, and tickets are pretty affordable for Mariah fans ($65 and up).

MALICE FOR MILEY: Hollywood Gossip claims The Parents Television Council doesn't want Miley Cyrus hosting the MTV VMA'S. The site quotes them as saying: “It’s not going to be safe for children to watch. “It’s probably going to be very edgy, very profane, and very sexually explicit." They're probably right, but if it's any claims Miley has finally waxed her long armpit hair. So, there's that!
