Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome Awareness Walk

Written by

Meghan Cota is hosting an Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome Awareness Walk to raise awareness for Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome. OMS is a rare, neurological disorder of unknown cause which appears to be the result of an autoimmune process involving the nervous system. It is where the body's immune system doesn't "shut-off" normally and it begins to attack the child's brain. It damages the brain, affects eye movement, balance and gives the child a very weird sense of disorientation.

The OMS Awearness Walk will also have a bouncy house, duck pond, sucker pull, face painting, parachute, basket raffles, and a 50/50 raffle!

$15 for pre-registration
$20 day of registration
$30 for a family of 4 or more

Meghan came in to tell us all about it, hear it:
