Landon will be a 5th grader at Melrose-Mindoro. He plays baseball, football and participates in wrestling!  This year Landon stepped up and was asked to be the pitcher in several baseball games.  He has worked hard and it paid off! He is looking forward to football this season!  He made his first touch down and 2 point conversion playing quarter back last fall.  Landon wrestles all over WI and it is one of his favorite times of the year.  He loves getting to be independent on the mat with his Dad by his side as his coach. Aside from athletics, he is an avid hunter and fisherman. He has high hopes going into his first youth hunt.  Academically, Landon is a top notch student turning in homework on time, being in school everyday, and setting an example for the younger students in the building.

Jordan attends Lewiston Altura Intermediate school and is going into 6th grade. She is an A Honor Roll Student and she was named Student of the Week, all while playing 3 sports!  Jordan plays volleyball, basketball, and softball for St Charles Gamblers.  This past summer she finished her softball season with a .661 batting average, while leading her team to 3 tournament championships and a 14 game winning streak during the last 4 tournaments.  Both staff, coaches, and students have nothing but good things to say about her school work, attitude, and willingness to help others.

WEEK OF JULY 24, 2017

Maria will be a Junior at Caledonia High School.  She is involved in track, holds down an early morning job of milking cows for her neighbor, and is skilled in horse back riding.  Most days she's training her horse, Cinchy, for speed events and other classes that showcase their partnership.  Her peers and adults have recognized her as the 2017 Triple R Saddle Club Queen.  She attends horse shows in the South East Minnesota Show Association and represents our area.  How many other athletes have a 1100 lb partner with attitude and speed?!
