WEEK OF JANUARY 2, 2017
 
Nick is a freshman at Prairie High School in Prairie du Chien.  He is an honor student and he excels in the class room and in sports.  Nick plays freshman basketball and football.  Plus, he's in jazz/pep band.  He wrote an essay to the President, as part of a school project, and was selected in 8th grade to take a trip to Washington DC, with four peers, and participated in a ceremony for the unknown soldier.  Nick is also involved in Boy Scouts.

part of Misty's Dance Unlimited Performance
Company, since she was 6 years

WEEK OF DECEMBER 19, 2016

Skyla Greathouse is a student at Tomah High School.  She gets straight A's and works very hard in the classroom.  Skyla loves ice skating and horse back riding!

WEEK OF DECEMBER 12, 2016

Cashton is 11 years old, and in 5th grade at Coulee Montessori.  Cashton has been playing flag football for the last 5 years, and was the quarterback this last year.  He also participates in Karate (he is a red belt now), log rolling, and tennis.  He is in honors Math and Language Arts.  Cashton has volunteered for Salvation Army, the American Red Cross, and raised over $300 doing the Polar Plunge (raising money for Special Olympics).  Cashton has a great sense of humor and a kind heart.

Kaitlyn is a senior at Virouqa High School.  She plays volleyball and softball.  Kaitlyn finished her volleyball season, as the Captain, with 1st team all conference, defensive specialist, and offensive specialist awards.  She has been involved in many activities such as National Honors Society, Student Council, 4H, has been named student of the month several times, and most recently named Rotary Senior.  Kaitlyn has a great personality and is a good role model to others. 

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 28, 2016

 

Kaylee is 10 years old, and a 5th grader at Red Creek Elementary in Black River Falls.  She is a straight A student and works very hard in the classroom.  Kaylee has been in dance since she was 2 years old.  She has taken classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, and more.  Plus, she performed at Disney World in November 2015.  Kaylee started Figure skating at the age of 3, and currently skates in Black River Falls and Onalaska.  Her other sports include: Volleyball, Softball, and Basketball.  She is also the current 2016-2017 Karner Blue Butterfly Princess.  Kaylee is a good role model and enjoys volunteering for the Salvation Army, food pantry, and Project Christmas.      

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 21, 2016

Logan is a freshman at Onalaska High School.  She's active in WEB club, helping kids transition from elementary school to middle school.  She plays trumpet in the school band and plays on the softball team.  Her passion is go cart racing!  She has been racing for 5 years and races at the West Salem race course.  She thrives as the only girl on the team and has won 29 trophies and 3 metals! 

 

Alexis is a 2nd grade student at Irving Pertzch Elementary.  She is a very active 8 year old who loves school, especially math and reading. Alexis loves doing gymnastics and participates in the Color Run every year.  She is also involved in the Girl Scouts and dance.  She is a very well rounded girl who loves to be outside whenever she can be.  You will most likely see her doing cartwheels, running, and playing with her friends and her little brother Erik.
