They're called The Sweat Boys and they like to party! If you're wondering "why The Sweat Boys?". . .Well, it's.. it's exactly what they do on stage! While front man, Benny Sweat, performs some great party-rock-anthem-like beats, all while getting the crowd amped and singing along to their catchy lyrics, backup. . ."lifters?" lift weights in the on stage. The intense energy created in the room will have you sweating in no time. It's certainly a sight to see! THIS Saturday (10/29), join The Sweat Boys at The Warehouse for their 3rd Annual Halloween party. Doors open at 7:30. Come prepared to party! Oh, and.. let's make America sweat again!

I can't really feature FOUR artists on Local Love in one night, but I CAN feature two. If you recall back a couple weeks ago (10/6), I had featured Misgenre Mixtape and The Phantom Dream. Both bands will be playing with this week's featured Local Love artists! Catch Midwest Voltage and The Spaceheaters LIVE with Misgenre Mixtape and The Phantom Dream this Friday (10/21) at The Cavalier Theater & Lounge. It's bound to be a heck of a way to kick off your zombie-infested weekend. That is.. if you're going to the Zombie Bar Crawl.

Tune in Thursday (10/20) to hear a track from Midwest Voltage and The Spaceheaters!

A big weekend is fast approaching La Crosse! Tune in to Z93's Local Love for a taste of what's to come for the 2016 Zombie Bar Crawl. I'll be featuring two artists: Megan Hamilton and The Funk Hunters.

Megan Hamilton is a producer/vocalist out of Minneapolis. With a debut on Bristol's Ghetto Funk, Hamilton has found herself bringing a European influence to funk in the US. After several releases this year with Buygore, Ghetto Funk, Audiophile and more, Hamilton is spanning genres in high demand. Recently Megan has also added an impressive group of live instruments, whom she calls The Bermudas. Supported by moguls like Benny Benassi, Oliver Heldens, Borgore, Stickybuds, Slynk, Aaron Jackson, and more.

Based in Vancouver BC, Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith define the west coast bass sound and elevate it with their stunning custom-curated visuals and animated stage presence. Borrowing inspiration from classic funk and hip-hop, The Funk Hunters are putting the soul back into electronic dance music. Having honed their craft over 450 performances in 16 countries, the DJ duo's show is a brilliant technical display of creative collaboration among 4 turntables. But words can't do justice to two friends whose passion is dance floor mastery – breathless audiences at global festivals including Wakarusa, Burning Man, Rhythm & Vines, Shambhala, Electric Forest, and Envision are the ultimate testament.

See both of these artists LIVE Saturday, October 22nd at Riverside Park for the Zombie Bar Crawl! To learn more about the Zombie Bar Crawl, click here
